How do I share a file with a password?
Upload your file on ShareURL, type a password in the "Optional password protection" field, then click Generate Link. The recipient will be asked for the password before they can access the file.
What is a one-time link?
A one-time link is a URL that can only be opened once. After the first view, the link and the file are permanently deleted. It's ideal for sharing passwords, API keys, or confidential documents.
Can I set a file to expire automatically?
Yes. Choose an expiry time (1 hour, 24 hours, or 7 days) when uploading. After the expiry time, the file and its URL are automatically deleted.
Is file sharing free?
Yes, ShareURL is completely free. No account, no subscription, and no limits on how many links you create. Files up to 100MB are supported.
Can I limit how many times a file is viewed?
Yes. Enter a number in the "Delete after N views" field. When the link is opened that many times, the file is automatically deleted.
